Deep Blue was the IBM developed machine which won a contest against the world chess champion Garry Kasparov in 1997. The chess champion disputed that it was a cheat. Today this should be no dispute that machine intelligence have outperformed human in many aspects.
Deep Blue also signify the marine world of life, whose mystery and beauty is yet to be discovered. A documentary film The Blue Planet, was also released under the title Deep Blue in 2001.
